Brunox Top-kett is a high-tec-lubricant for chains, gears and all moving parts. It has a relatively high viscosity forming an even, non-hardening, compact anti-corrosion and lubrication film with 100% coverage especially around edges with up to 3 times longer between lubrications.

"What?" we hear you say, "new packaging for Brunox Top Kett, don't you think we have anything more interesting to think about the week before Christmas?" Only that when we reviewed it recently and found it just about the best chain lube we'd ever used, the only thing we could find to criticise was its natural hand-pump dispenser which wasn't as accurate to apply as we would have liked. That's now been replaced with a choice of simple dropper or proper aerosol spray, both in 100 gram sizes for £5.99 each. Exactly the time of year for an excellent and tenacious chain lube, we'd have thought, although maybe not as a Christmas present.

From the heavy rains, into floods. There's an American style football not far from the riverbed and the parking lot just got flooded. My first time to drive through such a condition after most of the water drained away. And dirt was a major element of the ride. Dirt was very evident on the Downtube, Chainstays & Chainguard; the usual areas to be affected. But not the heavy-duty amount as with real atb. Never any inconsistency in the drailleur/shifting. My rear derailleur and chain has never been so dirty. I still say that the Top Kett lube slightly better than Hi-Speed by eliminating dirt better than FL Cross Country lube which I always been afraid to use in these conditons. FL never helped my shifitng; only made it worse. But Top Kett have the performance of FL Dry Lube, but (used) within FL Cross Country conditions. AND within conditions of FL Dry Lube. I know, because my earliest years of cycling were with FL. but then how much the lubes have changed...) Top Kett really works well in these extreme conditions !
