Robert Smith
I am a very keen downhill mountain biker and have been racing competitively for 11 years. I have completed my HND in Sports Science and Outdoor Education and I am currently a registered Bike Ability cycling instructor and work for Shropshire Council teaching cycling to all ages. I have also begun to instruct with mountain bike coaching days. I have competed in the Elite category for the last 6 years, which I will again be competing in for 2012. For 2011 I represented many companies including Plain Lazy clothing and Forgoodnessshakes nutrition drink. For 2012 I am looking for some greater sponsorship and funding for the racing season to complete a full World Cup series. I take great pride in my appearance and presentation at races and believe this is a key aspect to promoting sponsors. I am able to promote my sponsors through advertising names / logos on my jerseys and bikes. I am also able to promote my sponsors whilst on the podium and simply and most effectively whilst out riding and racing. I will also be sending out a frequent blog about my racing progress.
