Liam has been riding internationally at World and European level for the past 2 years, having only started cycling 6 years ago. He is currently a full time student and work part time 2 evenings a week "when ever I’m not racing abroad, basically I do this in order to fund my training, equipment etc ". With the “home” Olympics only 4 years away his performance manager thinks this is a very realistic to compete. "During the year I will be mainly racing across Europe at elite/U23 level with the Irish internal XC MTB Team as well as racing in Ireland and the U.K".
